⛏️ Worklog – Execution Flow Manager

👤 Who Can Access

  • Worklogs are auto-generated for each user in the execution chain. Depending on the stage, they are assigned to Project Managers, Team Leads, and Team Members involved in the task from the 📋 Project Plan.

  • 🔐 Each user can only access their own Worklog. In other words, every staff member in the organization sees a personalized list of tasks assigned to them — their daily to-do list from all 📋 Project Plans of those projects where they are involved as stakeholders.

📖 Description

  • 📋 Successive tasks from the 📋 Project Plan seamlessly flow into the worklogs of the respective task owners.

  • 🔄 This structured assignment ensures the project progresses systematically across all business phases — driving every task to closure 🏁.

  • 🔁 Worklog Lifecycle (Task Execution Path):

  • ▫️ PM receives a task from the 📋 Project Plan

  • ▫️ PM assigns Team Lead ➝ system auto-generates worklog for TL

  • ▫️ TL assigns Team Member ➝ system auto-generates worklog for TM

  • ▫️ TM executes task ➝ system creates review worklog for TL

  • ▫️ TL reviews ➝ system triggers closure worklog for PM

  • 🔁 Similar worklogs are generated for 🚧 Checkpoints as well

  • 🛠️ Worklogs also manage project plan delays:

  • ▫️ If a task is blocked due to unresolved 🔥 Issue or missed 🚧 Checkpoints, HOLIZE triggers a worklog to the PM demanding duration in extension for the impacted task

  • ▫️ PM responds with extension (in weekdays)

  • 📌 HOLIZE automatically reschedules all successive tasks, deliverables, and phases (accordingly, the cost revision also gets calculated for all impacted phases, deliverables, tasks and for whole project)

  • ✅ This ensures delays are addressed transparently and systematically, preserving the overall project structure

✅ Pre-requisites

🧾 Input

  • 🗂️ The assigned 📋 Project Plan task

  • 📅 Worklog due date (auto-calculated based on the stage)

  • 📝 Optional comments, execution notes, review status

🎯 Output

  • 📍 Worklog resolution triggers the next stage: assignment, execution, review, or closure.

  • 📊 Task status is updated step-by-step as and when worklog gets executed.

  • 🔧 In case of project plan changes, worklogs serve as the entry point for intelligent timeline adjustments.

  • 🕒 When a user executes a task from the Worklog screen, the system automatically captures:

  • ▫️ 🟢 Start Time

  • ▫️ 🔴 End Time

  • These timestamps are logged and later used as inputs to the User's Timesheet, linking time spent directly to the corresponding task.

  • 📘 You can view these time entries in the Start Time and End Time columns within the Worklog screen itself, as shown in the image and video preview below.
